Anyone with their motor re-phased running a 2 into 1 exhaust?

I searched on line and haven't gotten far... I understand it might take away some of the characteristic sound, but how would it affect the performance?

Here's my rephase with a 2-1 on the dyno, it has a damaged cylinder and still made 45whp.

And Here's on the road at lower speed.

That sounds great, what else have you done? What muffler is installed?

It's a custom exhaust, I used bends from mandrelbends.com and the muffler is a short one from cone engineering.

As for other motor work, it had 2nd over pistons, the rephase, no base gasket, 3rd&5th gears from an xs750, xs1 cam, and fuel injection.

Interesting, what does the xs750 3rd get you and how is the 5th compared to the mikesxs 5th? Do you have a build thread anywhere?

The gears from the xs750 are the same ratio as the 650, their advantage is the dogs are about 30% bigger.

There's the build thread, right now the bike is almost back together with a 700 kit from Hoos, high ratio primary gears from Ivan, it's been a slow process.
