Asheville area ride

Drove from Tampa back to upstate N.Y. the other day via Asheville NC. Did a loop up 276 with a spin on the BRP then west down the mountain and back on 215. Gorgeous views of course and classic twisties. 215 may be the most fun stretch of road I've ever done, so had to do the 215 east side of the Parkway twice.

That's a nice bike and a long ride for a café bike. Liked the pictures of the ride.

Thanks. I'd have done another loop out of Erwin TN around Roan Mt but one of my exhaust cans cracked a weld... bummer. No roadside fix for that.

Other than the crack,glad the trip was safe and can't believe you made the trip saddling that seat

Did that Roan Mt area ride about ten days ago on same bike en route back to FL. Bike subsequently sold to happy buyer down here nice enough to let me ride it on the way.

My hat is off to the road building artists of NC/TN. It's an amusement park for skilled riders-with good pavement to boot plus incredible scenery. Also did a ride the next day out of Rosman NC up 64 to 281 and back, with up and back on 215. 281 is a must do.

Giving serious consideration to moving to area.

Jelous. I n eed to hit our 101 over here in pnw. Great stretches of runs to leg it out, and lots of twisties to tickle the mind.

Top of 215 just prior to Parkway. Again, best region I've ever ridden, with more to explore. CA has great roads but too far away for us east coasters...
