When I bought the TX it came equipped with a bodged up auto advanced unit. The engine would never have fired up anyway as the compression was down to 75/85. But I had a look at it and if the guy who made this really expected it to fire up he was playing with himself. Pins were set at an angle, rounded off with a file and timing was way out.
Anyway, I decided to make one to see if it would work. I first made one up using aluminium, then decided to make one from Delrin to test the material. I never got around to trying it out as I bought an OEM plate. But one day I'll give it a shot.
