hi all, mark h in mesa Arizona here. I've been away from this list for several years mucking about with many other bikes(sr500,xs1100,vstar1100,vstar650, gl1200) but I've just rescued yet another '80 xs650 special from getting destroyed as happens so frequently here in the phoenix area. yeah I know, everybody is entitled to their own opinion and that's mine. I have restored 4 xs650's in the past 15 years and I've really enjoyed owning and riding them in stock form so here I go again. this one is all stock and original(13k miles) with really nice paint chrome and seat. the stock exhaust system is beautiful and rust free and it starts, idles and runs down the road just great. and it will be nice to once again correspond with other like minded xs addicts!
