Battery box

So I tried to make my own battery box, what do you guys think? I still have to make tabs to mount it.

I think it would look better if it was mounted on the lower cross bars.

I packed foam around my battery. Ugly, but the battery(s) going on 9 years old...

That box can go top or bottom but at the top its easier to reach the switches it will have attached to it. Holds more than standard box

That's where the experience of DaddyG comes in. I think he adds in some rubber padding when he puts the battery in.
