Battery charger advice

I used to own that. In fact I still do, I recall, except that it's far away.

I would just keep the battery charged while working on the bike. If the voltage drops, charge it a little. Shouldn't be a problem. And shouldn't have to crank the bike all that much while working on it. The meter on that charger, on mine anyway, didn't work very well. But it's automatic so you shouldn't need the meter anyway. I sort of don't trust that charger. The light would act funny. That charger saved me a few times though. Stay away from the 10 amp setting and the 55 amp starting feature with your bike. Charge at 2 amps or less.
