batteryless system

Hey forum. I got a 75 650 I'm running batteryless. I keep reading about the pamco ignition, but I'm still running points. Is this ok? Any bad things to anticipate? I've yet to hook up my tail and head light. Using a 10000/25v cap. It runs real good right now, just curious about this with the points. thanks for your input!

Points are just fine. Make sure you check them for wear and pitting every 2,500mi and adjust timing accordingly.

You may have starting issues once you hook up the lights. If so, just wire in a switch to shut off the lights when you start it.
