best fitting fender for avon safety mileage mkII?

Hi tuba,
on what bike, eh?
If you are building your own I'd suggest the smooth-curved one piece rear fender off a '57 or newer BSA.
Or if you prefer the center-ridge look, the fender off an earlier rigid or plunger frame BSA which has a hinged rear section that lifts up to allow easy rear wheel removal.

It will be going on a hardtail frame. Wanting it as close to the tire as possible, obviously rigid mounted
