Looks like a custom Norton featherbed frame.

I know it's terrible for the XS engines, but this is an awesome donut. I'm sure you've all seen it.

Don't think it's a featherbed, it's to short on the bottom cradle and the swingarm pivot area is to wide.

when you watch xs1961s video another comes up just below the screen which I assume is his bike either just before or after the bike being ridden, you can see the whole bike just idling on the same stretch of road.

Yes, that was from the breather caused by the compression release.

Classic, seems to me that your gonna wear out the rear tire pretty quick. Nice little jaunt though. I like the old 'bird, yours? Whats that, a '59?
