Bike will not start - running out of ideas...

With only 54 lbs of compression, I don't think the timing really matters much, lol.
 
You mentioned several times that you set the cam timing, but have you done a good job of making sure you have good valve clearance? A little loose is better than tight in the situation your in. You can always go back in and adjust up tighter if shes making noise after its running and warm.
 
Hi again,

After being hung up in work I finally got some time in the workshop again. Took the engine out and disassembled the top end. Cam mark was spot on vertical with the pistons at tdc. I then took the head outside and poured gas in into the valve chambers and no leaks... But I may get a pro to check the valves just to make sure. Next up is checking cylinder, pistons and rings again...
