I'm using my phone to type this and I'm on the road right now on a trip to Florida from Chicago and ive hit a problem.

rephased engine, hughs pma, i know i have the carbs dialed in the plugs were good when i pulled em.

got into Nashville yesterday evening and I started to lose power. so got to the hotel found the band holding my left carb came loose and i thought oh an air leak.

tightened it down and we went out around town and it rides fine. just putzing around but when we head back on the highway it's just bogging under throttle. I'll check back every chance i get when we get gas.

thanks for reading and any input you guys can give me.

While you're riding at highway speed, and it has that 'bogging down' feeling, immediately pull in the clutch lever and let it idle.

If it idles ok, think fuel and ignition. Check the plugs color.
If the idle is low, think overheat and piston seizing. Maybe oil problem...

swapped in new advanced weights that I brought with and the problem went away. Not sure if it mine were just extremely worn or what. sorry for the late reply twomany, been on the bike all day.
