Hi, will this work on a 72xs650? Also can I use the stock brake caliper for the time being?

hi guys,,, could i install the brembo recing style rotor without too much stuffing around ,,, still using my standard caliber from 1976 xs650 yam ,,it has 2 calibers ,,,, ,,34mm tubes... regards oldbiker

Not sure about earlier style XS650's. I have these on a later style 35mm front end.

As far as calipers, these are meant for stock calipers with a little extra spacing. That is what the rotor spacer is for, you will need some extra washers most likely to shift the caliper over a couple of mm.

Your best bet would be to check out 650central.com and ask Michael about this.

No, it doesn't fit on a 72 XS650. Rotor on a XS2 are different than others years.
