'82, you would have to change the carb manifolds to correct ones and change the throttle cable from the single to a dual cable. Add a "Y" to the fuel line to feed both carbs. So yes it can be done with some mods...Experts... Did I miss anything?

Oh yes....Go to pods and rejet the carbs for them. Most likely the air filters won't fit anymore.
