Wanted - BS38 Carbs

just opened mine up on a restoration project and one side has the float posts busted off, the other side has the brass float totally rotted away, and both have severely damaged brass stuck in them. Thinking they're basically not worth saving if I can find usable bodies. I have rebuild kits already, just need good rebuildable carbs.

Let me know if you've got a set you'd sell.

I'm not concerned with year, just have to be BS38's on the rack. I forget what year they made the switch but I think it was 79? Earlier carbs were the 38's and later carbs were the 34's. If the pilot jet is in the bowl instead of the upper body....it's the carbs I need.

Got these 76-77, diaphragms thumb test good, throttle shafts move freely, floats are used. don't know the carb's history $100 to new yauk.

hows the choke and all that on those Gary? looks like they'll do the job....

I don't believe in used floats but both these just passed the dip test, all brass is original, correct for the year and threads un-threads. Pilot orifices are clear, chokes operate correctly. no stripped screws or screw heads.
