Hi all!
As I may have mentioned before, I also have a couple of old RD350s, in addition to my 77 XS etc. I guess quite a few of you also have an old RD, or had one in the past, so here goes:

I'm looking at getting new tyres for the stock-74 RD, I am not able to decide between period looking Dunlop K82s or supposedly superior Bridgestone BT45s.

The K82s would be in 3.00-18 and 3.50-18, the BT45s would be 90/90-18 front and 100/90-18 or 110/80-18 rear. My rim sizes are 1.60 front and 1.85 rear, I believe.

I mostly take it easy on this old RD, but I guess I occasionally could get carried away on a twisty road, especially if my buddies bring out their CB350 twin and Moto Morini 3 1/2 cafe racers......

Please give me your opinion on these two tyre alternatives!

Twomany,
Thanks for rim vs tyre sizing, but I am sort of stuck with the stock rim sizes at this stage. 3.00 and 3.50 are the stock sizes on these old RDs.
90/90 and 110/80 are fairly common alternatives to 3.00 and 3.50
In fact, I had a Pirelli Phantom 110/90-18 rear on my other RD in the 80's, and it seemed to work fine.

I would definitely prefer the period look of the Dunlop K82s, unless I loose to much grip and handling qualities compared to BT45s.

So I am mainly asking for grip, feel, handling differences between these two tyres. The price is more or less similar.
