Cam Guide Nut Torque

Anyone know the torque spec of the pictured nut? I actually don't even know what this piece is specially called (yes I tried to search). It's also not in my Haynes manual. The thread is 12mm. The 6mm bolt should be 7-8ft lbs.

Good question. There's no specific callout for those "cylinder guide bar nuts".
You want to go easy with those, I recall using about 10 ft-lbs max torque.
Short threads, into aluminum, just enuff compression to seal the copper washers.
The neutral switch is a similar situation and thread size, which has a callout of about 10 ft-lbs torque.

A forum search on "hollow guide" will yield a few threads, and cautions.
You'll want to check their lengths, avoid pushing the front guide too far inward...
