Trying to cobble together a set of carbs from my box of parts. First, are these xs650 carbs and if so do they go with one another? A few things don't seem right to me:

-Only one of them seems to have a choke
-They both have fittings for a throttle cable (though I know some years used a 2 to 1 cable so maybe this is OK)
-If these do go tother, what parts am I missing as far a mounts to hold the carbs together

If someone has some pictures of a complete set of these carbs that would be helpful.

Do they say Solex on top? That would be early BS38’s. They are not linked, so they each have their own throttle cable and only the left carb has a choke, there is a fuel hose that passes extra gas to the right side carburetor when the choke is depressed on the left one.

OK, so it looks like there is no mounting bracket or anything or these, so I won't worry about that. I just need to get a 2-1 throttle cable and I should be good. Those pictures are helpful Mainman...thank you! 🙏

Yes, early BS38s, '72-'75. To narrow it down further, look at the number on the butterfly plates. '72-'73 carbs would have a #125, '74-'75 carbs a #120. It looks like you're missing the nipples for the choke crossover hose (as shown in Mailman's last pic).

These don't use a 2-1 cable but rather two separate and complete cables running to a twist grip that takes two cables.

I had a two into one cable on my old Triumph and I actually like that better. What will make or break using that cable is if the end of the cable that attaches to your carburetors, will fit your BS38’s.
