Carb slides slightly askew

Road about 100 miles in the last 2 days, stop and start several times. It runs great, but kick starts about 1 in 10 times. Will be making the float adjustments soon. Over and out!

Ok. Back again. Reset the floats in March I guess. Here are the float level picts from yesterday. Gotta go, be back tonight.

Sorry about the picts. Any way, I am still not satisfied with the idling. I can ride all day, and all will seem fine, then it will die as I stop for a light. Or it will be idling fine and when taking off at a light, it will stall.
If anyone thinks the float level;s are too high, please let me know. I should be pulling the carbs again soon and pay close attention to cleanliness. So basically, the configuration is back to factory, (for a 72), except for one step up on the pilot.
