Chain tensioner

hey guys, so i put a hardtail on my xs. its from mr.luckys frame, now the question is do i need a chain tensioner? thanks

A lot of threads in here covering that.
Do a forum search on "hardtail tensioner".

I never needed one on mine, kept the chain properly adjusted, about 1/2" of up/down slack.

Watch yours, looking for up/down and side/side whipping...
