Hi,

I've got 1.750" Stainless steel exhaust with EPO/TPO's from 650 Central (modified https://www.mikesxs.net/product/07-0758.html)

I'm looking to use 2 of the Cone Engineering MC-CAN175300-SS "Stubbie Can Muffler" (http://www.coneeng.com/pdf/motorcycle/MC-finished-Mufflers.pdf)

In order to attach the muffler to the tubes, it looks like there are lots of options from Cone Engineering. This would be per exhaust can, two cans total.
  • 304 Stainless Steel T-Bolt Clamps
  • FL-SCB-3W x2 and a 5/16 or 8mm bolt
  • FL-SCB-3W x2 and a FL-SCB-SSP spring
  • FL-SCB-ST x2 and a FL-SCB-SSP spring
  • FL-SCB-WSR x2 and a FL-SCB-SSP spring

Caveat : I'm building Stainless steel brackets from the exhaust to the OEM frame mounts. Those will need welded in along with the TPO's. I'm okay with welding the muffler to the tubes.

I like the look of the wire tabs and springs. I just don't know if it's a good / easy solution. I'm used to the T-bolt clamps. I'm not against just welding it all together.

Opinions or pictures?

Thanks!
