Does anyone know what size cotter pins hold the shift forks together I know they are din94 but I need a size thanks

How do you know they are 94 DIN?
No, I don't know the size, buy they are only $1.11 each for genuine Yamaha parts:

You're going to pay more than that for shipping, but if you are that far into your engine, maybe you can spread the shipping cost out over some other things that you will need, such as seals and copper washers.
If all you need is the pins, you could try this:

One time I bought cotter pins at Home Depot, and they were so easy to bend. I checked them with a magnet, and the damn things were aluminum! Went back (across the street) and exchanged them for steel ones. Don't remember if they were labeled as aluminum. Don;t know why any would be made of aluminum.

I have the exact same cotter pin assortment that I got from HF for less than $5 -- if you use a 20% off coupon it will be less than $4.
You don't need stainless for this application, the pins will be constantly bathed with oil.
When I wrote my initial response, I was thinking that it would be best to go with stock, just in case there is something extra-special about the stock cotter pins. This is not a job that you want to have to re-do. But, on further reflection, I think any cotter pin would be okay in this case. The cotter pin is only keeping a very tiny sleeve from falling out of a hole that it is in. The sleeve really doesn't have any forces on it, and almost anything would keep that sleeve from falling out IMHO.

Maybe I'm missing something here but if you have the forks right there how about seeing what size drill bit slips through the holes.

Guess I'm just assuming everyone has at least one 29 piece drill bit set. Now if you have a metric drill bit set you are one up on me, at least for now!
Have to check with Harbor Freight on that one, even if only using as a pin gauge they might be handy!

Then if you are trying to find metric cotters use an online conversion program to convert from fractions to mm.

Like this one:
https://www.inchcalculator.com/inch-fraction-calculator/

And for an idea of some metric cotter pin sizes try this site:

Now that's strange I just looked and so far don't see metric drill bits on Harbor Freight, how the heck can a company that 99.99% of there products are made in China not sell metric drill bits?
