Hi Everyone
I run a vintage sidecar rig using a xs650 motor. We blew up our #1 engine with the mikes 750 kit in it so are going to throw the #2 engine in for the next race. It had 2nd over mikes xs pistons in it and they have ovalled. I have looked for some forged pistons and in my search i came across these. I know they are not forged but it sounds like a bit better quality than the mikes cast ones. I dont want to go too crazt with the $$$s on this engine, so my question is has anyone had any experience with them?
Cheers
Vic

The compression ratio will be due to the thinner head gasket, that's why they tell you to move the cam sprocket.

Those pistons look like Cruzinimage pistons with a coating.

thanks for the info, I am actually going to go with the Hoos 700cc JE pistons ....done a bit of research and they seem the best bang for the buck and they are forged

I have 750cc JE pistons in mine from Hoos, they are well worth the money especially if you are racing it, they also come in 3 different sizes so you should be able to bore your barrels to suit.

Thanks Jay, I went with his 700 pistons just so we can do a quick rebuild without having to sleeve etc on the #2 engine to get back out there, but will be looking into his 750s for the mikes xs big kit i have on the # 1 engine.
Its always good to get positive feedback cheers
