dellorto carbs hit tank

can any one help ive bought dellorto carbs & billet spacers,from mikes but they hit the fuel taps on my tank,dose any one no how to set them up

is there a left/right or top/bottom to the spacers? stock/tank frame or modified?

yeah same problem here. same set up also. top of cables rub on side of fuel valve. best I could figure was tilt and pull cables together with zip ties.not happy with that but rides fine. zip ties fix everything. no really,any sugestions.

Can you raise the back of your tank a bit?

i shaved 5mil (got them machined, milled ), of one face of the billet spacers witch gives a slite angel,witch droped the carbys down just a nuff;you could probably take more ? plus i had to inlarge the hole on the spacers to about 8mil,so they would sit flat against the head works well
