I emailed a guy named Jason at Dime City. They seem to cater to old Honda's and build some really nice looking cafe bikes. He asked about the frame width just behind the rear shocks. My 77 XS measures 8 1/4 inches center to center. Seems they might be considering building some weld on rear frame loops for the XS. They already provide them for the Hondas. Might be helpful for those of us without a bender in the garage. Did later XS's have the same center to center distance or did it change?
