Does drilling out Mag wheels cause any imbalance issues ?

Hi peeps , has anyone who drilled out the mags front and back has any balancing issues ?
I'm mainly concerned with 19 inch front conversion fitted to the rear and I plan to grind off the raised text on the wheels which is the mag model and size info from when it was cast initially .
Has anybody else ground this text flat with 19 inch rears and had no issues ?

I can't imagine that would be enough weight to amount to anyrhing that normal balancing won't take care of. Be advised, Some places won't install tires on wheels that are not positively identified. It's rare that the spoon goon even knows what to look for, but I know of 2 shops that refuse to put a tire on a wheel size it's not recommeneed for fitment on, and if you grind off or powdercoat over the original wheel marking they won't do it.

Yeah I think I will take my chances and grind off the text , can always fit my own tires

If you drill uniformly, have at it.

after seeing those beautiful "drill here!" casting marks, i'm REALLY tempted to drill mine out.
