Electrical wiring through the frame

I am trying to plan out my electrical wiring prior to painting my frame, because I would like to drill some holes in the frame to hide wiring. My fuse block is going to be in the rear of the bike in a small E box where the starter used to be. Ideally I would like to run all the power wires as well as the front to back signal wiring through the frame back bone. If I had to guess, it is probably 5-6 wires max.

Is there a maximum hole size I should try to stay below? Would I be better off drilling a couple of smaller holes and splitting up the wiring? Does anyone have pictures of what they have done?
