Can anyone tell me if Yamaha changed the design of the XS650 engine top mounts at any time?
I bought an XS in bits off e-bay last year, rebuilt the engine and put it back in the frame today.
All the lower engine mounting bolts fit except for the top stay brackets. The double lowers fit together and match the engine holes but the upper bracket doesn't fit. I did think I was being incredibly dumb and tried every single combination but they just don't fekking fit.
Any ideas?
