If I use ethanol stabilizer will that prevent the nasty stuff from eating through my fiberglass tank?

My gut feel is no so I think you would need to ask the manufacturer of the stabiliser to get a definitive answer.
If you line the tank with Caswell two part epoxy you won't have a problem.
I bought a fiberglass tank from Omar's and had it coated before shipping. When I got it, the instructions said to not leave any gas
in it for more than 5 days. When I drained the gas out, it had a blue tint to it and 'Tim' at Omar's said it was not harmful.

I have used the RedKote lining, I liked the price and the process of doing it, long term is yet to see. I don't know if it works with fiberglass.
