I've had plenty of caps like the one on the left, which takes a 22mm socket, pass through my hands, but the one on the right, which requires a 14mm socket is a new one. Maybe it's from some other motor? Or from a very early XS1? Anyone seen one?
Hi Beags, thanks for the reply. 17mm, that's really weird. Unfortunately, I have no idea what serial # motor my 14mm cap came off of.
I've seen a few caps where the hex head was cracked from torquing. Maybe they started with 14mm, decided that wasn't big/strong enough, went to 17mm and still weren't satisfied, and finally settled on 22mm?
