Hey guys im new to the forum and new to the xs650. I just got a 76 xs650 that im planning on doing a full restoration on. most of the mechanical and electrical work is no problem seeing as how ive grown up around bikes my whole life. the only issue im having is finding a list of the stock colors it came in so i can decide one.

How 'bout this color combo. Never seen it before.

These ladies sure seem to like it.

I believe Euro and maybe SE Asia 76' were red.

from 650skull's ID thread stickied at the top of the garage forum page.

That nice red 76C is a restoration done by a club member here in OZ. Back in the day Yamaha was a state by state franchise and each state had a choice of either French Blue or Brilliant Red.

The Dutch site has a world color chart by model and it states that both Brilliant Red and french blue XS650C was available in the US. I have never come across any one in the states finding or having a red XSC.

The Dutch and Japanese 76 XSC had a similar and the same decals as the 75B.

I appreciate the offer, but my tanks and covers are in pretty good shape. Like i said I'm just restoring it and was wondering about different colors they came off the line

I just uploaded them to show that some red bits came to Canada, sorry to complicate things, not for sale.

IMHO That very rare in north america color adds to that 76's value as a stock or restore candidate.
