Shit - you guys are having fun on your bikes while I’m buzzing around Germany on a work trip. At least I have a fun ride - a VW Golf GTI.

Here is a photo of my rental snug in its cage in the underground parking in Darmstadt.

Took a 5 hour ride into the countryside today on the '83,
and reinvigorated my intrigue with cornfields as a photo backdrop.

Fall riding Arizona style!

No fall colors here! I’m still riding in my mesh jacket, forecast for today.....abundant sunshine!

How about something a little different? The oh so wealthy town of Carefree Az. I’m going to go for a little spin up into the rocky hillsides, where the idle rich build there mega expensive custom homes nestled in amongst the cliffs and boulders. Look carefully , some of the homes are designed to disappear into the landscape!

The road I turned onto had a big old Local residents ONLY sign posted at the entrance. HA! I scoff at your puny sign! Here we go.....

You know you’re knee deep in money when you have a long private drive with an electric gate, an intercom system at the driveway entrance and your property has a name.

Wee Doggy! They got a cement pond!

Nice place. beautiful ride, MM. My buddy, who owned a '71 650 and who I went to Colorado on bikes with, got into security alarm system installation, monitoring and repair, but found a more lucrative business in those electric gates. Now he does just the gates. You deal with big buck customers and it's simpler than the security alarm systems business.

Well..I got curious as to where in Carefree you were..thanks to Sotheby's I see where that is.....I'd prefer a more earthly southwestern architecture..personally

Yeah the fireplaces are not real...prolly gas fired anyway...Ya know I'd be content with an acre in the desert with mountain views in a modular home..I have seen a few in the Tucson area..out of town..and almost equivalent to what we have here......Been playing with moving back there for several years already...

There is quite a bit of this around here, I just have yet to find destinations.

Going toward Hernando, MS on Scenic 304

All last winter, the spot I'm on was under 10+ feet of water.

The marsh that becomes Arkabutla. Duck hunting is popular around here.

It's supposedly going to be 17 degrees F when I wake up on Tuesday morning. Today was 65 or better.
