Fall Riding

I was inspired to ride, so I did. Colors are out in full bloom, but the fog is very thick today.
The cafe racer is a 350 Four. My bike in the driveway is last. We have a few days before the color hits down here.

Somebody told me it's 1 week difference per hundred miles. It's just past peak here, and I'm 200 mi. north.
I like the fog picture. I like to start riding in that and have it burn off. I remember starting out one early morning in pea soup in the dark my visor got covered, so I flipped it up and my glasses got covered, so all I could do was pull my glasses down to about my chin to get them out of the way
The fog was in the afternoon. Color has peaked up there, but you can't see it. My driveway is over 1000 ft lower, so we should be a few more days.
Fog, not misty rain? Never seen that. Actually I have seen it, way up in the mountains.

You've illustrated how the landscape can be photographically superb, even though the fall colors have faded.
I want to encourage you to bring the bike even closer to the brink, where you can taste the excitement.

Great pics gggGary! 30's eh, you're tough man! Did a couple laps around the hood today in the 40's.....brrrrr! that was enough for me.
This photo reminds me of one of those grand old, expansive Errol Flynn movies, this one named,

YamadudeXS650C, is it true that the gauge of the US Railway Network is based on the distance between axles on the XS650???
