Hi all,
A little advice please. Should i replace this float needle or not?

Hi eightO
Yes you should.
If the wear is bad enough to see it can make the needle & seat not seal properly.
Replace the needle & the seat because if the needle is worn, so is the seat
and it's always best if they are replaced together.
Do the other carb too while you've got them apart.

Thanks both, is the part from heiden tuning not any good then?
Any idea where to buy an OEM one in the uk?

That one looks good enough to use to me.

You might buff it and take another look. But I've been burned so many times by leaky carbs I 'm kinda gun shy, it's new; float valves, floats, and throttle shaft seals anytime I get a new to me set on the bench.

Thanks for the input all. I'll try and get hold of the original ones mikuni used. Yes its leaking although one of the floats is also full of fuel. As i had them open thought i'd strip them and go through everything.
