Is the ignition key and the fork lock suppose to be the same? I know my ignition key will not even go in the drum the offsets are opposite from each other.... Where could a fellow find the code for the fork lock so a key could be made I couldn't see any numbers on it....

You plan on using the fork lock? :umm: I did that one time at a campground in Florida. Got on Started up, turned a 180 and flopped over like Artie Johnson on a tricycle.
I do believe that is the LAST time I ever used one.
Even further back; We kinda stole a friend's brother's Electra glide one night. Turned around in a parking lot and the fork lock dropped in, I had to dump it over before I creamed a Rambler. 16 years old 6'3" and 150 pounds and I picked that damn thing up on pure adrenalin and got the hell out of there.

There's a keyway in the steerer that lets the deadbolt from the neck lock fall in when the bars are turned all the way on the left stop.

I found a nest of some sort inside my steerer when I pulled my front end to rebuild!
