Hey gents,
Does anyone know what the height differences on the frame neck between the 71 Xs 650 and the 74 xs650?
I know that the frame neck on the 70-71 is taller than that of the later models, (thus the spine on the triple will be longer).
Therefore when putting the a later model front-end on to a 71 xs650, (drum to disk brake), there will be some slack to take up on the triple tree spine.
I was hoping that someone might know what the exact height difference might be, so I can have a spacer made.
