Hi guys,
Currently in the process of chopping the frame of my 78' XS. And looking to get a front wheel built so i can get the frame rolling!
My bike came with cast wheels which dont really like, so i managed to pick up an 18" rear spoked wheel, the high sided aluminium type.
My first question, is what width are these wheels? I want to run an 18" on the front as i think the same size wheel and tyre setup front and back looks the best!!
I was thinking of getting a front 18" spoked rim from MikesXS, the 36-spoke rim is 2.15", is this the same size as rear?
Second question - I need a front disc-type hub to suit the spoked wheel i want to build. Obviously the XS one will fit but are there any other hubs from other bikes i can keep any eye out for?
