Acquired in a trade. I don't have the slightest idea what these are off of. All I know is that the tubes are 41mm, and I think the bike came with clip-ons, but I don't really know. Any guidance at all would be appreciated.

Yes, you seem to have nailed it exactly. It appears to be 1986-1987 GSXR 750 front end. That hasn't been polished -- it has been chromed.

Think you mean 86-87. The 750 only started production in 85.
