Fully Charged Battery, No Cluster Lights, No Electric Start

I was trying to start my 83 XS after sitting about a week, the electric start clicked, I was getting close to starting, then nothing. No more Neutral light, no electric start click, nothing. I checked my battery getting 12.8V and 100% charged. Checked my fuses, all looked OK. I don't know what else to do. Any idea where I should look next? Thank you!

Check connection of the battery terminals. I had one that was loose same problem. Dirty starter button contacts.

If you have the glass tube fuses make sure the clip to fuse connection is good.

Gentlemen, Right on as always, it was my ground. Looked intact when in fact was so brittle I could pull it right off the bolt. Thank you!
