This Saturday the Garage Brewed Moto Show features regional builds from around the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky area (and further away). The event is at the Rhinegeist Brewery in the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) area of Cincinnati. The show runs noon to midnight. Family friendly (at least until 8pm). Come see what local and regional builders are doing.

Details at the website:

Rhineqeist does have some limited parking. If there lot is full, you can park about two blocks down at Findlay Market. If you are in the downtown area, you can take the streetcar north to the Rhineqeist stop just after Findlay Market.

This is GREAT! I happen to be going to Cincy this weekend. My wife and girls are going to a concert that I have absolutely NO interest in. I was going to belly up to a bar while they are gone. Now I have a plan !!! Thanks for the heads up.

Good to hear Willis, I will be there in the mid-afternoon. I'm 6'4'' and will be wearing an XS shirt. Look for me if you are there early. I updated the 1st post with some parking/streetcar recommendations.

Since BBQ is a known topic here, I can suggest Eli's at Findlay Market (only a couple blocks south of Rhnegeist). They are much better than the popular, but way too sweet, Montgomery Inn ribs. http://www.elisbarbeque.com Also on or near the streetcar line is Revolution chicken near Washington Park, and Lalo Latin bistro near the Aronof Center http://www.lalocincinnati.com

The Garage Brewed event was well attended. At mid-day there were so many people that by 3pm there was a line outside on account of fire code. There were mods and restos, beers and swag. Bikes on barrels. I am sure it was crazy busy in the evening.

There was only one XS650 and this one is ready for some full-on adventure riding.

There was another xs chopper on display. My pictures did not turn out as well as yours though, so I’ll try and present them best I can.

Another great bike that got my vote was the custom cbx. It was clean and very impressive and was one of my favorites that I kept gravitating back to. The more I looked the more details were revealed.

I really liked the Guzzi, I got to talk to the owner at length about it. Says he only has about 4500 into it since he did all the work including the painting. I have been fostering a new admiration for Guzzi’s lately

This was a great show representing about 50 bikes of various brands and styles. Cafe racers were plentiful as the sponsoring club is geared towards them. Several choppers too. I’m not into them so much as I used to but can certainly appreciate the craftsmanship put into them. Great beer, great venue, great people and great bikes.

Having issues uploading today. Will report back with additional pictures later when I get home.

Oh, and one more xs I saw on the way out. The flyer was taped up in the stair well. There were a lot more bikes, but this gives a fair representation.

Glad you made it to the show Willis. Great to see the additional pictures (especially because I saw, but spaced, the XS chop). I never owned a Z1, but just seeing that bike brought a twinge of screaming terror laced with a thousand youthful bad decisions. Loved seeing how well attended the show was. I think they have a good thing going with the Rhinegeist venue. And plenty of inspiration.

My first street bike was a 75 Kawi z1. had a 1075 piston kit. It was a real beast. Here scrappy picture of a picture from yeArs ago.
