The important thing to pay attention to when changing master cylinders is the ratio of piston area between the master and caliper. A ratio of around 1:20 to 1:25 is good. Vary too far from this and you will end up with a brake that is too hard or has too much lever movement.
Okay, so say the bore size is acceptable, does anyone know what the outlet fitting is on most lockheed master cylinders? Or if the reservoir will be sufficient? And should I use the brake fluid my caliper calls for or the fluid the master cylinder calls for?
Thanks
