Has anyone here used Carmo to repair their TCI?

So it looks like my TCI is shot. I'm iffy about swapping in another 40-year-old part, especially with the prices the way they are right now, so I thought I'd go the Pamco route. That being said, while researching this I found a company called Carmo. They claim they can repair TCI's or replace them with an improved unit. Has anyone used their services before?

Here's a link to their page:

I used to worry about buying used TCIs, but I have found them to be very reliable. Find the cheapest one on eBay that looks decent and has a 30-day return policy. If it lasts for 30 days, it's probably going to last for years, maybe forever. This is way simpler and cheaper than a Pamco, which will require an advance rod and some type of advance mechanism and a lot of installation.
I run with a spare TCI tie-wrapped under the side covers.
