help i smoked my ignition switch

so i just wiered everything up and puff smoke game out of my ignition switch.... i used the simplest wiering diagram possible. and yes nylon screw. wtf any ideas

Start testing your electrics with a bulb in serie with your battery+ (45-60Watt)
Now the current will be limited till about 3 à 4 Ampère

Simplest wiring diagram.....are you using fuses?
