It's advertised as an "80s 650" which I've always wanted one of, and cheap too, but there are some differences looking at it, make me suspect it may actually be an XS400? But it doesn't look quite right for that either. Hard to tell from quick searching, but I bet one of you all will know?

It's definitely not a 650.
That's what I thought and it's heartbreaking, I thought I'd finally found one I could afford. The way prices are going, I likely never will.

It's gotta be a worthless 400 then. I will offer the guy some lowball number, maybe a hundred bucks, but definitely no real value in a 400. Can't even manage freeway speeds on those POS starter bikes.

I also joined this board for nothing as well apparently. Oh well thanks, I will probably end up giving up on my lifelong dream of owning one. I don';t pay over a grand for old bikes, just not worth it to me. I suppose I may run across some chopped piece of junk some day and try and stuff it in my old TX500 frame, but I doubt I will ever find a stock XS650 under a grand. Very depressing.

You never know. My latest just a couple years ago was only $200. My 1st one was free, lol. But they don't stay that low cost for long, not by the time you get done fixing them.

There's a possibility that the ad is right but the pictures are wrong.
