highway pegs and electric box

so i found my front motor mounts today just when my new ones showed up.thought i would put them to use and create some highway pegs, yes i know not everyone thinks there safe. but the are plenty high enough and the foot rest will be pivot. here is my electric box as well it will house my fuses,flasher and starter relay. thoughts???

You foot pegs look in a bit close. Will they be too close to the exhaust pipes? Could get hot feets.
The electric box is definitly very cool. I never saw one like that before.
