i had a issue with a dead cylinder. tried everything. had 140+ compression on both cylinders. rebuilt carbs. had spark. after many nights of driving my self crazy i made my mind up to pull top end off of motor. the head was JB weld. every thing else looked ok. found a parts bike with good motor for 150$. pulled the top end off the parts bike. looked good on inside , like new!

so i was going to just swap top ends. then i find that original motor had bad rods. the small end was very sloppy. now i going to use complete parts bike motor. going to put new rings, and have a valve job done while i have it all apart.

i found the problem tha caused me to lose the cylinder in the first place. after emailning pamcopete. i found one of the magnets in the rotor of the pamco was missing which would cause you to lose one cylinder one the compression stroke. pete is sending me a new rotor:thumbsup:
Just wanted to say thank you to all that tried to help out with ideas , and thanks to pete for his help.
