This weekend is the annual sticker shock show... aka.. the International Motorcycle Show. I'll be work'n the vintage booth Saturday. Attended a open house at one of the local scooter shops last weekend... $6500 for a scooter… Yikers ! That Royal Enfield Interceptor is look'n better everyday. A RE dealer south of Janesville, Wis has a couple 2019 RE 650's marked down to $5200.oo.

I used to go every year to the IMS when it came to Phoenix. I would spend two whole days going on factory group rides, I rode em all, heavy cruisers, adventure bikes, sport bikes, Buells, Harley’s, Aprilla’s you name it. It was a lot of fun, but all it did was get me all jacked up to get a new bike, which I suppose was the whole purpose! :laugh2:

I go to the Cleveland show. It gets smaller every year. No Euro bike this year. If I didn’t get comp tickets I would not go.

The show this year.... if I didn't get a ticket ($16.00) for work'n the booth.... I'd stay home.... parking was $15.00.... I brought lunch and drink.
The show was …. packed... lots of people.... many young faces... which is good.... I load up with Hot Wheels toy m/c's dur'n the year. .. and hand them out to kiddies at the show.... we had 15 bikes at our vintage spot.... hand out flyers for the club.. with our June event... invite folks to become club members... ( I promise them kick azz biker names… tattoo.. the secret club hand shake… )
Ducati and Triumph, no floor presence at the show.. no Guzzi…. Royal Enfield made the scene... we have a local dealer.... that 650 twin.... I'm very... tempted ….. Aaaaaargh
One of the vendors… Janus motorcycles..... neat little 250cc units in "old "... 1920's style... neat.... cool.... but they start at … $6995.oo...
