Im lookin for parts to finish my 79 xs.
parts I need:
fenders
head light
gauge cluster
battery mount

i have a rear sprocket,front fender,motor side cover and a fuel tank all from 79, im in waco texas,oh and maybe a seat

I'd say buy your chain and sprockets new, they are maintenance parts like brake pads. A worn out sprocket can damage a chain, and a bad chain can break at high speed and lock up your rear wheel, very dangerous. Just my opinion though, I'm all about keepin it safe.
