Idea for a build

i found a couple of xs650 frames in the yard when i started working on my 76, and i always liked the look of the yamaha srx-600 we have in our trailer, so i figure, make one, right? i was wondering if there was a good way to keep the frame square while building this, this progect will have to wait till im done with the stock xs, but that shouldnt take tooo much longer!

hi i met a guy in orbost australia a few years ago with with a smashed 1984-85 srx600 with damaged forks from hitting a big roo at 100k plus... the forks and the neck really suffered .. ...plus the srx600 is really a retooled ,,,tt600 ,,anyway the srx600 is a single cylinder single over head cam.. with decom as well and from memory the frame was made to loosen and remove the motor from the front and the frame folded up and you put it in the cubboard for winter ..regards oldbiker
