Idle issues after new coil

I've been fighting this issue for a few days. I installed the MikesXS ultimate high output coil, and ever since the bike will just not run under 3k rpm. The bike runs at those rpms as if there is a massive vacuum leak, with lots of popping from the exhaust. At first I thought it was the mixture screws (BS34 carbs, stock jetting), but adjusting them according to the guide has not worked. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
