Idle Jet rubber seal

If the idle jet rubber seal is bad is it ok to use silicone to seal the top of jet idle jet screw?

i know what you mean. i have bunch of oring sizes but none that fit the jet screw so i used a lil sealer. only been couple weeks now so far so good.
i just got tired of hit and miss.
